Time for a new snare head!

Gigs with Rubicon over next few weeks. Needed a new snare head. Just fitted an Aquarian Hi Energy head. Was the only coated head in the shop so I took a gamble. Put it on, 6 turns on each lug, left bottom head as it was. Boom!! Sounds awesome!!!

Rubicon

Hastily organised rehearsal with Rubicon (See post from 01 Jan 2009, and a few from last April/May). Seems their drummer has done one and left them knee deep in the brown funky. Doing 4 shows with them to help out.
01 May - The Talbot, Hednesford Road, Heath Hayes.
02 May - BBAT Rally, Llandridnod Wells, (somewhere in the middle of) Wales.
08 May - NABD National Rally, (somewhere in) Cheshire.
09 May - The Church Tavern, Quarry Bank.

Just got out of my re-sit for my Microsoft 70-291 (Server 2003 part two) exam. Only got 641 back in January, passmark is 700. Today I scored 810. Feeling pretty damn pleased with myself! Only the 70-284 (Exchange Server 2003) left now....

Sleep when I'm dead....

I guess 2 hours of James Conran and DNS was just way too alluring. Who could even contemplate sleep given that as an alternative!

Decisions, decisions....

4.30am. Just woke up. Still feel crap. Alarm is set for 6.30am. Do I attempt to go back to sleep, or do I bite the bullet and get a last couple of hours of revision in (afterall, that's why they invented the Red Bull/Pro Plus cocktail!). Answers on a post card....

Not happy!!

After almost going blind watching non-stop training videos last night (and NO! Not cos they were so exciting I decided to.... Well yunno!), I decided to try and sweat the fever out. So it’s now 5am and the room is so hot I can’t breath! Got a gland in my neck the size of Texas, my head throbs and I’m full of snot. Enjoy your breakfast ;-)

Revision!!

Last night of revising from videos for my Microsoft 70-291 exam (got the exam on Thursday at 9.45). Then all I gotta do tomorrow is memorise about 150 pages of notes!!! It's almost in the bag :-/
